Northern Rockies Coordinating Group Equipment Pre-proposal Meeting in Billings

The Northern Rockies Coordinating Group (NRCG) provides an interagency approach to wildland fire management and all-risk support on all land ownerships within the states of Montana, North Dakota, North Idaho, and a small portion of South Dakota and Wyoming.
NRCG is made up of representatives from the Montana Firewarden’s Association, Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Division, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, Idaho Department of Lands, North Dakota Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fish and Wildlife Service, Forest Service, Montana Fire Chief’s Association, and Montana Sheriff’s and Peace Officer’s Association.
NRCG issues solicitations for a variety of equipment to help meet incident support needs. This meeting is for vendors interested in assisting state and federal government agencies with wildland fire suppression or all-hazard incidents. Representatives from the NRCG will be present at this meeting to review this year’s solicitations, highlight points of emphasis, and answer vendors’ questions.
There is no cost to attend this meeting and advance registration is not required. Meetings are being held in Coeur d’Alene on Feb. 11, Missoula on Feb. 12, and Billings on Feb. 13.
